Train Station

We visited the Maputo Train Station for the first time since we moved to Mozambique. Very shameful! But, rather late than never.

What would be the first thoughts that come into your head when thinking about the train station. Well for me it would be dirty, busy, noisy. But, I was pleasently surprised by the Maputo train station. It was clean, quiet (granted it was a weekend) and pretty. One of those old fasioned train stations. The ones you only get to see in the movies. Well, actually, for those of you who watched the movie, Blood Diamond, you might recognise it as the hotel in the movie.
