Today my grandmother would have turned 97. This is the first birthday we will celebrate in her absence. It has been about 9 months since she passed away. And I still feel the missing piece of the puzzle that her passing has left in my life.I will always remember her as a very strong determined Boere tannie. I am just very thankful that my kids got to know her, and still talk about Ouma Hannah.
I miss you Ouma Hannah, but am comforted by the fact that I know I will see you again in Heaven.
