My Friends

The last few days in Maputo were really hectic, so I did not get to post about my two best friends in Maputo. Lana and Tahia.

We met at a baby group. Our eldest children where all around the same age. And, you wouldn't believe this, we all three fell pregnant with our second children about a month apart from each other. And no, it was not planned...hehehe..

First three from the left...

I was very sad to say goodbye to my two good friends. We did a lot of thing together. Park visits, horse riding (the kids, not us), visiting each others houses, beach visits, more park visits. And sometimes we even got to visit without the kids. Those where the best!

Maya and Erick horse riding
Daniel, Joshua and Maya...a couple of months old
The three ladies, Maya, Fatima and Bella

We came from three very different back grounds, three different religions and three different cultures. And yet we got along very well. I learned a lot from them, and am very glad that God gave me the opportunity to cross paths with these two phenomenal women.

Ladies, I miss you more than you will know and hope that we will get the chance to get together again one day and have a good old gossip...

Love you!

Wow, thanks so much, Hanlie, I got tears in my eyes when I read your post! I feel that our friendship has become very strong, which means that it does not matter where we live, we will think of each other and keep each other in our hearts (even if some of us are sometimes too lazy to write:):)). I also feel now that I need to learn all about Thailand, since I have a friend living there!:) Will start by learning how to spell Bangkok:):)
